I’m not gonna lie, this will be maybe my third attempt at starting a blog. I want to say it’s because I really didn’t have anything to right about, whether it be being cooped up at home/school or simply not having an opinion about anything. But recently I’ve felt that I have enough time and things going on in my life to form a couple paragraphs about something that may or may not be interesting.
First off, the design and title are only temporary, until I get around to designing something for it. I was in a Swiss Style mood. The subjects written about here will be very random. Maybe you will find something you like.
If you’re visiting and don’t know me, here’s a brief summary of who I am: I’m a 24 year old web designer with a graphic design degree living and working full-time in Greenville, South Carolina. I’m married to a very smart and hard-working husband. He is a web developer with a degree in chemistry education. We live in a very small apartment and do freelance in the evenings, occasionally. We’re trying to get out of debt. I’m originally from Kansas City, MO, my husband from Philadelphia, PA.
I like art, food, science, and technology (especially Apple). I dabble in photography and healthy-living stuff. I like Coldplay and the Killers, among others. I listen to NPR. I love guns and carry a gun (legally). I like spicy food and putting hot sauce on stuff. I like pink and will gravitate toward a pink accessory.
I’m an introvert; I take a long time to warm up to people. I can be kinda strange in person; I’m sorta socially clumsy. I’m very bad at the house-wife stuff, but I’m working on getting better. I’m a Bible-believing Christian and love creation vs. evolution stuff. I love to laugh but have a tendency to be apathetic and sometimes ramble about my problems (it’s therapeutic, though).
I currently (AKA at the time of this post) am doing Yoga and some strength training, but I’ll be getting a bicycle and doing cycling as a workout. I know a few cyclists that will keep me accountable, and I have a training schedule to keep me on track. I’m really excited.
That’s about it. I hope you enjoy what you read, and if you do, drop me a comment. Heck, even if you don’t like what you read, still drop me a comment. I want to know your opinion.
